Virtual Training: Professional Healthcare Interpreting Overview for Providers
Oregon Health Care Interpreters Association (OHCIA) is proud to partner with Trillium Community Health Plan to offer a one-hour training for providers, clinical support staff and administrative and support personnel. This course will review the role and responsibilities of the professional healthcare interpreter and the legal risks of working with non-credentialed interpreters. The course will cover national and state standards of practice, laws, ethics and COVID-19 for healthcare providers working with healthcare interpreters. View the course flyer.

Geriatric Suicide Prevention Training for Providers
Centene in collaboration with the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is offering a free virtual suicide prevention training focused on the geriatric population. The training features experts from Concert Health and Adelphi University and explores the dynamics of geriatric depression and suicide, as well as details effective suicide prevention practices for geriatric populations, from screening tools to evidence-based interventions.

Upcoming Behavioral Health Training for Providers
OR Cultural Competence-Moving from Cultural Competence to Cultural Humility presented by Adriana Peralta, MSW, LCSW, LPN
